Rita Faye Tanner has always been musically gifted.
From a young age, she has been singing, performing, and playing a variety of instruments.
Throughout the course of her musical career, Rita Faye Tanner has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while recording new music.
Humble Beginnings
Born and raised in the beautiful hills of wild, wonderful West Virginia, she is the last of 13 children of Reuben and Doshie Leggett.
Her Daddy was a farmer, her Mommy a homemaker.
Rita Faye was raised in church and GOD and FAMILY was the creed.
Through the years she has won various awards and accolades. She won Gospel/Country Gospel Artist of the year Josie Music Award, plus more.
She is a Nominee in 5 categories in the Holland Red Carpet Awards. She has been asked to sing at the Award ceremony in Holland, The Netherlands this year, as well as at the pre-party.
